Here is a New kitten checklist
When purchasing a new kitten it is good to make sure of the following\
1. Kittens are checked by a licenced Veternarian and giving at least there first shots depending on the age of the kitten.
2. That the kitten has a Congenital hereditary Health guarantee for at least one year.
3. That kittens have been dewormed.
4.You should always be given a sample of the food for your kitten when taking home and keep kitten on the same food until the kitten has adjusted to its new surroundings.
5. Make sure that your kittens eyes, nose, are not running and clean and clear, check the ears to make sure they are clean, check the rear end make sure that it is nice and clean.
6. Kittens should at least stay with the breeder till 10 - 14 weeks old to have been properly weaned from mother and on to solid food and using the litterbox. Letting kittens go from 6 weeks to 9 weeks is not a healthy and wise choice.
All of this should be taken in consideration when purchasing a kitten, if the kitten you are purchasing are common pricing standard ask yourself why and don't hesitate to ask the breeder. Quality,Genetics, and breeder philosophy determine the kitten's price whether be pet/breeder or show.
